The Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) has decided to extend the date of e-filing of returns for individuals and AOPs till January 31, 2016; it was learnt here on Thursday. According to official sources in Islamabad, the board after reviewing the problems being faced by taxpayers falling in the ambit of individuals and AOPs had decided to extend the date of e-filing of returns till January 31, 2016.

They said that the notification in this regard will be issued. They said that the date for corporate sector would not be extended and advised the corporate taxpayers to file extension applications at concerned tax offices individually to get time relief in filing of tax returns.
